Levey-Jennings Chart Lines

Depending on how the Levey-Jennings Chart is created, the following optional lines are available for the chart when applicable:

• Group
• Floating mean
• Fixed mean
• ±3SD range based on the floating SD
• ±3SD range based on the fixed SD
• Analytical goal target value
• Analytical goal decision limit range

Note: With the exception of Group lines, the lines appear only when creating an individual Levey-Jennings Chart for each level of control. Lines do not appear on the chart if the Overlay levels option is selected; however, Group lines appear on the Levey‑Jennings Chart regardless of the Overlay levels option.

1. Click the Charts tab.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Lines.
4. By default, all lines are selected. Clear the check box to omit a line.
5. Select the dash style for the line from the Dash style list.
6. Click (ellipsis button) for the Color and select the color from the palette.
7. Repeat steps 5–6 for each type of line.
8. Click Save.

Note: Click Default to return to the default settings.
