Configure Imprecision-BV

Note: Configure Imprecision-BV by lab number or by panel. Set up a panel before configuring Imprecision-BV for a panel. See Create a Panel and Add Tests for more information.

1. Log in as a user with the Edit test settings/rules permission.
2. Click the Configure tab.
3. Click Analytical Goals.
4. Click Imprecision-BV.
5. Select the Lab or Panel option.
6. Select the lab number or panel name from the Lab or Panel list depending on the option selected in step 5.
7. If using the Lab option, select the lot number from the Lot list.
8. Select the test from the Test list.
9. Select the Use this application to evaluate performance check box.
10. Select an option for the performance goal:
    • Minimum performance
    • Desirable performance
    • Optimum performance
11. Select an option for the mean:
    • Use 30-day rolling mean
    • Use 6-month rolling mean
    • Use cumulative mean
    • Manually enter target value
12. If using Manually enter target value, type the target value in the Target value field for each level.
13. Select the Warn or Off rules status for each Decision limit.
14. Click Save.
