Delete Lab Numbers

Important: Deleting a lab number permanently deletes all data for all tests in the lab number. Information in the deleted lab number cannot be retrieved. Bio-Rad recommends closing the lab number to make it inactive rather than deleting the lab number. See Close a Lab Number for more information. You can also export the lab data to another file before deleting it. See Export Data for more information.

Note: Only open lab numbers can be deleted. See Open a Lab Number for more information.

1. Log in as a user with the Manage labs/lots/tests permission.
2. Click the Configure tab.
3. Click Lab.
4. Select the lab number you want to delete in the Open labs list.
5. Click Delete.

   A message appears asking for confirmation of the lab number deletion.

6. Click OK.
